Ron Sharpe & Barbra Russell first met when they were playing the young romantic leads of Marius and Cosette in “Les Miserables”. The story they often tell is that after being married on stage hundreds of times, they decided to do it for real.

Ron is the only actor to have played both male leads of “Marius” and “Jean Valjean” in Les Miz on Broadway. His other Broadway credits include featured roles in the original productions of “The Scarlet Pimpernel”, “The Civil War”, Disney’s “King David”, and “Titanic”. As for Barbra, in addition to performing the lead role of Cosette, her theatrical credits include leads in “The Little Shop of Horrors” “Oklahoma”, “Side by Side by Sondheim”, “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”, and “The Fantastiks.”

In Married to Broadway, Ron and Barbra (together with one or two of their fabulous and equally talented Broadway leading actors and actresses) share their love affair with the great music of the Great White Way, performing the big showstopping numbers that are audience favorites around the world -- from Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita, and West Side Story, to Carousel, Fiddler on the Roof, and – of course – Les Miz. Depending on your budget, the show can be performed with a cast of from 3 to 5 vocalists (including Ron and Barbra), performing with tracks, piano accompaniment, or a band.
